Hayley has previous experience of working in specialist hospitals for individuals with enduring mental health conditions, as well as in specialist services supporting individuals with psychosis and forensic histories. Within community NHS teams, Hayley has supported individuals who have experienced brain changes including through stroke and dementia, and with children, adolescents, and adults with a range of mental health conditions. Hayley also has extensive experience of working with people with a diagnosis of autism across all ages.
As a Clinical Psychologist, Hayley has developed skills in a number of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic psychotherapy, and third-wave CBT approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
Hayley recognises that every person’s journey is different and therefore strives to embrace individuality in her approach to therapy, understanding her clients and their needs before developing a plan of support.
